
Troy Adams
Troy, the owner and founder of The GYM in Penticton has been in the Health and Wellness business for the last 27 years. With his extensive military background he has worked to shape the rawest recruits into the forces that guard our nation.
Outside of the military, Troy has trained professional and amateur athletes to get them into peak physical condition. With The GYM in its fourth year, Troy has shifted his focus to getting your average everyday person into a healthy lifestyle pattern. He has worked to facilitate positive change in all his clients and he takes a no excuses approach to getting the results that his clients are looking for.

Sean Bacon
Sean is a retired military policeman and paratrooper with 12 years service in the Canadian Forces. He served in a variety of posts throughout his career including as Lead Use of Force instructor, and Fire Arms training with the Canadian Forces Military Police Academy. He also served as a Unarmed Combat Instructor Trainer with the Land Forces Area Training Centre Meadford (Battle School).
His accomplishments and instructorships include: Canadian Forces Physical Training Instructor (CFPTI) course, Combat leadership course, ST. John's ambulance standard first aid and CPR C, Massage Therapy Education with a diploma as a massage practitioner, and black belts in Hapkido, Jiu Jitsu, And Ryukyu Kempo.
Sean has also had the privilege of providing team development boot camp and physical training for the Canadian National Freestyle Ski Team, and has trained clients from AHL hockey players (and other elite athletes) to combat soldiers to physical rehabilitation.
Sean specializes in Core Training, Strength Training, Cardio (anaerobic/aerobic), Boxing & Martial arts, Military Cross Fit Style Programs, and Team Building.

Dan Macdonald
Dan MacDonald is a Level II certified coach through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). The NCCP is the recognized national standard for coach training and certification in Canada. Although Dan enjoys working with all individuals, he specializes in working with athletes over the long term to improve performance, often in preparation for provincial, national, and international competitions. Dan is also trained in ethical decision-making and sport safety.
For the past ten years, Dan has raced as a professional cyclist and is a former member of the National Cycling Team. He currently races for Total Restoration Cycling Team.
